The caped crusader is back in a new type of immerse combat experience at the Jokers own Arkham Asylum. In the game the Joker is sent to an Asylum, where he ends up taking over the place and controlling all the inmates. Batman has to go into Arkham Asylum and stop all the evil doings going on in there, but the Joker and his evil inmates have set a trap for this super hero.

On TV you might remember Batman as a really nice super hero, in the game he's the complete opposite of that, hey they don't call him the Dark Knight for nothing. Batman has a real dark side in the game, he will not hesitate to drop a villain to his death as you can see in the picture down below.

The whole point of the game is to rack up points by using all sorts of combinations moves. Of course you can knock out your victim by just tapping the button X really fast, but that's not how you're going to rack up a ton of points. You must use all sorts of combos and gadgets to increse your points score, which will raise your username on the Xbox Live leaderboard. Batman will also be able to use his surroundings as weapons to defeat his opponents. For instance if their is a support beam, you'll be able to kick it and the ceiling might come down crashing on your opponent, you'll get a whole lot of points that way.

The greatest element of the game is how smooth the combat flowed, the punches and kicks flow very gracefully, making it seem very realistic just as good as Christian Bale fighting on the big screen.

The game seems to have two type of modes where you'll be fighting your enemies. At one point you'll be running and fighting, on the other hand you might have to be stealthy just like Riddick in Assault on Dark Athena. All in all it's a very challenging game. I wonder if the Joker will have such a graceful laugh just as Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight, sarcasm, the laugh was definitely pretty scary!
