Can you say cha-ching? The EA Sports NHL franchise has just released a demo for NHL 10, the game truly delivers a new standard of toughness and emotion of playoff hockey. You'll be noticing realistic fans and new rockin' arenas. Two new game modes are available: Battle for the Cup and Be A Tough Guy, these can be played in the demo. Also featured is a new first person fighting engine that allows players to trade punches with an NHL tough guy. Experience these elements when you play the demo when you download it off Xbox Live, only available right now for Xbox Live Gold Members. On August 27th Silver Members will be able to download it, so don't worry too much Silver members.
So what's up with all these new mini ninja characters? As you watch the video, you'll notice the game is all about having fun. In the xbox video game you'll be playing a mini ninja, a small little character with quick wits and particular musical weaponry. The game definitely has a unique cartoonish feel packed with a punch. I really can't wait to play the demo when it comes out, like I said above, the game just wreaks of fun!
Southpeak has just released some behind the scenes video footage of the multiplayer FPS Seciton 8. The is the third trailer released from Time Gate Studious, they go really in depth about the futuristic shooter. As you watch, you will hear about how each multiplayer combat mission will never be the same, each mission will dramatically alter the flow of combat. The game is set to come out for the Xbox 360 and PC next month. A open PC beta is available for gameplay at their official website, so when you get a chance check it out.
Man there sure are a lot of different racing games coming out for the Xbox 360, I have no clue which one I want to get. There's Forza 3, Need for Speed Shift, DiRT 2, and FUEL. They all seem like very interesting games, but what I like is a racer that gives intensity and fun. It's gets boring driving around a track over and over.
Now here's another one set to come out in November. What sets this game apart from other racing games is the weapons, shields and explosives. Sounds interesting doesn't it, this could be the intense racing game I've been looking for. It's said the game is between Project Gotham Racing and Mario Cart, minus the cute little mushrooms.
If you check out the Blur Trailer down below, it gives you more of an explanation what it's about. It looks great, but I think I'm going to try out the demo before I reserve mine.
The game has been put together with the collaborative team work with Bizzarre Creations & Activision. The game is set to come out on November 3, 2009.
The new Need for Speed Shift is suppose to deliver a true driver's experience that reflects on professional motorsports. The game was built by racers for racers, made with authentic and immersive driving experience developed by Slightly Mad Studios in collaboration with executive producer Michael Mann at Black Box. If this game is anything like the old Need for Speed Game Most Wanted, I know I'll just love it. I've been waiting for Electronic Arts to come out with another Need for Speed with excitement and lure, hopefully this game is it.
After I watched the trailer of Army of Two: The 40th Day, I was just itching to see more. The game looks packed with intensity and chaos. So what's different in 40th day? Well the shooter features a bigger playbook of new co-op moves that either player can use at any time, opening up new strategies and countless choices for both players. The result is a bigger, better, more organic and immersive co-op experience that lets gamers put their best two-man tactics to use whenever and wherever they want. Pretty much everything you ever wanted in an Xbox 360 game. I just hope the gameplay is easy and accurate, I find that a lot of shooters are sloppy which can really take the fun out of the game. Everyone said that Gears of War was the best game until I played it, I felt the gameplay was sloppy and the machine gun was inaccurate. I hope that's not the case with Army of Two: The 40th Day. I still haven't played Gears of War 2, maybe the game creators improved things.
Check out the graphics on both the new and older muscle cars. They look amazin, you can see every little detail on the cars. It's great to see these old classics in such great shape, they are in mint condition of course. Well until you smash on of them into the wall at 100mph. I'm a big muscle car fan myself, I have 2 modern age muscle cars in my garage: 2002 Trans Am WS.6 and a 2004 SVT Cobra Mustang. I'm hoping that the 2004 SVT Cobra will be in there, but I most likely doubt it. They'll probably just have the new 2009 Shelby GT500. I hope the physics in the game are exact, I know that after I added around 900 horsepower in my 2002 Camaro the car would just not do a wheelie. I hope I be able to do some wheelies in Forza 3. The torque and power just doesn't seem to be right in these simulators.
Before I watched the trailer to this new game I thought, "it's about time someone created a joyful game just for kids, most of these games nowadays are so violent." Boy was a wrong! This game is just sick and twisted! I just love it, in this fairy tale setting you can play one of your favorite fairy tell characters and go berserk cutting up and dicing all your enemies in your path. You can literally carve them up and watch their blood splatter into a puddle on the ground. Just witness Little Red Riding Hood's mad chainsaw skills in this preview trailer of Fairytale Fights. This game looks like a ton of laughs.
If you're a big Turtles fan from the 80s, you might be interested in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled arcade game set to come out on August 5th, tomorrow! The game creator Ubisoft originally released this game back in 1991. Since that time, Ubisoft has been itching to release the arcade title for the Xbox 360. So they revamped the game with better 3-D graphics, but kept the classic feel of the side scrolling beat-um up gameplay we all love.
This game brings back memories for my friends and me, like when we were young kids beating away at the joystick pad at Chuck E Cheese. We had some great times back then. It's great that Ubisoft brought this game back for us young at heart adults, I still think I have a few hours of turtle power left in me!
The game will be available for only 800 Microsoft Points (about $10).
Looks like there could be a great anime game coming out for the Xbox 360. Though I'm not really into these types of games, it looks like it has some creative graphics and could be a whole lot of fun for the kids. In this game you take control of a dynamic tornado, the point is to tear through open environments chewing up landscape and spitting out everything in your path. The more stuff you destroy, the bigger you grow. There will be bosses at the end of each level, as you progress the game will get harder. Here's the Tornado Outbreak Trailer.
There are two teams in the game, each capable of holding six players. So each match can be up to 6 vs. 6 – with hosts being able to reduce the maximum players when creating a server.
The Resistance – residents of the city of Isenstadt who have taken up arms against the Nazis in an attempt to stop their experimentation and violence against the citizens of Isenstadt

For the following descriptions and objectives, these mainly apply to the Objective and Stopwatch modes as Team Deathmatch is as simple as killing members of the opposing team.
Bank – The Axis are using the bank vault to house a Veil Crystal device. The Resistance have to load the tank from the nearby ammo cache, blow open the bank and steal the crystal core.
One of the new features that is coming to the Xbox 360 console next update is to lighten the load on the hard drive. The amount of space that a downloaded game takes up will be dramatically reduced. A trimming of uneeded data has greatly reduced the load of each game.
I never really saved games onton my hard drive before, I guess it's a good idea if you don't want to go through the hassel of loading and unloading discs all the time. I never minded getting up off the couch so I still do it the old fashioned way.
If you've never seen these game documentaries on youtube, boy are you missing out. These hilarious videos are done my James the Nintendo nerd. Even though it may seem very stupid at first, the videos are actually pretty funny. My favorite video is the Ninja Turtle one. You can watch these videos over and over again. It's a great way to cheer yourself up if you're in a bad mood.
So what do these videos have to do with Xbox, absolutely nothing. I just thought I'd show them because they are sort of game related. If you have an Xbox 360, I know at one point you did have a Nintendo. I bet you played at least one of these games and came close to throwing your remote through the TV. Some of these games were just close to impossible in playing.
Just watch a video and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
The NES Collection video is just great. I can't believe how many Nintendo games there were, especially the bootleg ones.
If you're a big Rocky fan, you have to watch this Nintendo Nerd video. This game was on the Sega Master system. I never had one of these systems, but my cousin did.
You'll just crack up and fall out of your chair laughing at this one. Boy did that Ninja Turtle game suck.
Xbox has just announced that there will be an update coming for the Xbox Live Dashboard on August 11. The update is to include many new features for your Xbox 360: Games on Demand like Comcast, improved Netflix performance, Avatar Awardables, Avatar Marketplace, ability to rate games and more. Also coming this fall is Facebook, Twitter, and Last.fm support. Now that's what I'm talking about! My girlfriend will definitely be happy about the Facebook support. Girls are just a magnet to that social networking site. I for one am happy to see some Netflix improvements. I'm a big movie fanatic and sometimes the streaming speeds are a little slow, but that only happens once an awhile.
Even though HD DVD has bit the dust, Microsoft still has no plans to come out with a Blu-ray drive for the Xbox 360. I just don't understand this, Microsoft could make a lot more money this way. Blu-ray is eventually going to be the standard format anyway, why not give it a go. You know Microsoft definitely has the money for it. I'm just confused why they haven't done this add on yet, this is Microsoft's response.
"As we have stated before, we have no plans to introduce a Blu-ray drive for Xbox 360. We have a long-standing high definition strategy that runs across gaming and premium content, and it's a strategy that continues to pay off for us. Today, we offer the largest library of blockbuster games and offer a growing library of nearly 20,000 movies and TV episodes on Xbox LIVE Video Marketplace (more than 5,000 in HD). In addition, people have access to 12,000 films and TV episodes on Netflix Instant watch. And coming this fall, Xbox LIVE will launch digital movies with instant on 1080p HD streaming so you can experience the best video quality with no disc, no download and no delay."
