Though, I'm kind of partial to run and gun type games. It looks like Konami has just revealed a winning game that involves strategy and tactics. This RPG takes place on the continent of Sostegaria, two rival kingdoms stand on the brink of war. Tobias Martin, raised in a church orphanage in a small town on the border, fights for peace and revenge. The only thing standing in his way is a strong warrior who wields the almighty Flames of Judgment.
The game seems like it is embedded with classic gameplay like World of Warcraft. Seems a bit more involving though, stronger storyline and multiple endings just like Fable. And what's really cools is the party members adapt to the player's style of gameplay. There will be up to 20 playable maps on the game. I'm really looking forward to hearing more about this game! Release date is said to be in August of 2009.

Square Enix is coming out with a new game for Xbox 360 fans, the game is preceded by countdown website. No one knows what type of game it is, but the folks over at IGN has guessed it's some form of card-based Lord of Vermilion arcade game. I'm have no clue, if you have any ideas please post your guesses down below.
So what's up with this Wet video game? Well it's basically the movie Crank made into a video game with an adrenaline junkie sweetheart named Rubi to replace Chev Chelios. I've been seeing advertisements of the game on just about every major Xbox 360 website. Looks like Bethesda Softworks is really trying to do their best in promoting the game.
In the game you play Rubi Malone, a dual pistol gunslinging hot chick that also has a samurai sword for close encounters. It's an awesome game with nonstop action, but with a different twist to it. Bethesda Softworks has worked hard in trying to make this different from any other action game available. You'll be able to concoct all types of different fighting moves - limited by your own imagination.
This is the perfect game for you if you love the mixture of humor and violence. Just like I said above, I expect this game to be just like the movie Crank slammed into video game format. I know one thing, Rubi sure is hot!
Activision has just released late breaking news on the forthcoming special edition DJ Hero, called the Renegade Edition. The setup has an alluring black finish, metal accents, and a custom carrying case. Also included in the package are 2-disc CDs featruing unreleased tracks from Eminem and Jay-Z.
Although the game is several months away, we have heard the pricing to be in the range of $200. The Renegade Edition will not be cominng out for the Playstation 2, which is kind of outdated anyway.
It sure looks like a neat setup, I never disk jockeyed before so I have no clue what to do. Kind of looks a little straight forward anyways, three buttons in the middle and two nobs on the side. I'm sure there is more to it then that though.
This is the world exclusive official trailer of NHL 2K10. It looks like Visual Concepts has stepped it up in graphics and gameplay. The checks look real, the falls look real, and the sounds are of similar comparison to real life hockey.
All I really want to see is the glass shatter when I take a slap shot. Or maybe a player get checked through the glass or over the boards. They have those features I'm definitely buying the game. Those are the aspects I look for in a hockey game, just hard hitting action.
Here's some new screenshots of the Wolfenstein Game that's set to come out on August 4, 2009. The pictures look absolutely terrifying, especially the monster blob or whatever you would call him. The screenshots bring back some memories for me playing the original Wolfenstein 3d on my old computer. I'm actually looking at the graphics of the old game right now, man do they look terrible. We definitely come a long way!
From the looks of it, I think Activision has a lot in store for us. It's like between a Call of Duty and a Quake game, loaded with an old arsenal of World War 1 weapons and fictionary monsters. Well, I hope they are fictionary! Either way after looking at these pictures I'm definitely going to have a nightmare tonight.
The game definitely is adding some blood and gore just like its predecessor, just check out these horrifying pics of all the blood splattered on the ground. Awesome ain't it!

Guys over on IGN has just released a Guitar Hero montage of all the hottest rock and roll artists today as well as classic rock bands. I'm a big rock fan so the montage was just perfect for me. Thanks goes out to youtube for hosting the Guitar Hero video.
So lets review, we have some great games coming out for the Xbox 360 in the future. Two in particular I'm really excited about are Halo 3: ODST and Alien vs. Predator. I know all the Halo games in the past have just been outstanding. And since I'm a big Alien vs. Predator fan, I'm dedicated to the release of that game. They are the best looking movie monsters ever. Plus, I'm bit of a Sci-Fi addict.

Forza 3 is going to be a lot better than Forza 2, let me tell you why. Forza 2 just had two much going on, very broad and easy to get lost in career mode. In Forza 3, Turn 10 is making the game compatible for both hardcore fans and also casual racing game players. You will get to pick what kind of racer are you: casual, regular, or serious. This will determine the functionality of how competitive AI will be with you. And the great thing about AI is it will be making a lot more mistakes due to the new pressure system. Problem with most racing simulators are they are too perfect. There has been so many times in the past I put down my controller and was too discouraged to play on. This will not be the case!
Along with better AI and easier navigation, there will be improved physics, better graphics, and of course more trucks and cars. I'm just glad they are trying to improve the physics. I just couldn't get a good grasp on the steering in Forza 2 and having a steering wheel made it even harder, it was almost impossible with the steering wheel. Maybe this time around Turn 10 has made it easier to control a car for amatuer racers.
The only thing that kind of scares me about Forza 3 is the modifications. It's said that the AI mods will be so hardcore that if you make the wrong modification to your car, AI is definitely going to make you pay for it. That's something that wasn't implemented in Forza 2. But, there is an option in Forza 3 that lets the computer select the right parts to move you up to the next class. Be honest with you, that kind of deters me away from the game a bit. Say I make a huge upgrade to my horsepower and I don't upgrade my suspension. So AI is still going to be able to beat me in a race because I didn't upgrade my suspension. Sorry, that's not going to happen in real life. 9 out of 10 the car with the larger amount of horsepower is going to beat you hands down.
I just hope they improved braking too! I have raced many cars in real life and what I know about high performance brakes is they stop on a dime. That is not the case in all these past racing simulators on the Xbox. It's like you have to brake a 1/2 a mile a head of time before you hit that sharp turn. Game developers especially need to work on that, along with how much you can turn the wheel on your car. It just seems to stop too soon on all these racing games. So far, the only racing simulator I played that deserves most the credit is Gran Turismo, now hopefully Turn 10 can top that game with Forza Motorsport 3, but I have my doubts.
New screenshots have been released of the Xbox 360 game Tropico 3. When I first found out about this game, I was really interested in learning what it was all about.
Basically the time is yesterday and the Cold War is in full swing. Through means devious and dubious you have seized power in the Caribbean island country of Tropico, where you now rule as all-powerful "El President." You will decide to either be a corrupt or a good leader. The game features 15 different missions, variety of business sectors, wide range of editing and modification functions, random map creation and a great Latin soundtrack. Sounds like a very interesting game, perfect to soothe your adventurous tendencies.
I'll tell you the sreenshots look beautiful, especially the one of the sunset at the bottom.
Bethesda the makers of the Fallout games, has just released a cool new trailer for Mothership Zeta, and add-on for Fallout 3. Available August 3rd, the add-on will cost your 800 Microsoft points. The whole plot of mothership takes place on an Alien mothership, the mothership answers the distress call sent out by the alien ship at the Alien Crash Site and abducts the player. Onboard the Mothership, the questline won't be completely linear and will feature some exploration. You will be able to take a spacewalk. There will be Alien Power Cells but still in a limited quantity. You will encounter other abductees, who are all fictional characters from the Wasteland and Earth's past.
I'm just wondering if we will get to see Crypto from Destroy all Humans, that would definitely add a little humor to the game. But, I don't think Fallout 3 is engineered for humor. I do think it will definitely add a little more weirdness to the game, like Fallout 3 wasn't already weird enough. You can watch the Mothership Zeta trailer down below.
It's really not that surprising Dirt 2 decided to become a sponsor of the 2009 Subaru Rally Team USA. I thought it was cool, so why not right an article about it. The sponsorship will only include the rally races at the Los Angeles X Games, which starts today and ends on Sunday. Good luck Team USA!
This is my "I thought I shot him first dam it!" article. I seriously have said that millions of times in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It's happened to me in other games too, but not as much as Modern Warfare. I don't know what it is with that game, I have unloaded a full clip on a person in their upper chest area, they don't die, then they shoot me and I die. I know that some of them are using the Juggernaut mode, but I'm not sure if that's always the case. It also could be lag, but I have a strong connection so I don't think it's that. I actually believe it could be a glitch in the game. This hasn't happened to me much in the other Call of Duties. I'm not saying I don't like the game, God knows I love the game, just pisses me off so much when it happens. Has it happened a lot to you guys? Or am I just nuts, lol.
To celebrate the 5 million units sold landmark, Microsoft and Epic games has just released a bunch of add-ons for the Gears of War 2 game. Epic released the Dark Corners, the download includes new multiplayer maps and a brand new campaign chapter called Road to Ruin. This was initially suppose to be in the release, but was cut, now it has been revived. Also there is a cool new stealth mode so you can sneak around, I'm guessing that's why Epic called it Dark Corners.
Xbox has just listed a download called "All Fronts Collection." The download is a bundle of all the latest Gears of War 2 add-ons: includes map pack Dark Corners, the classic Flashback, the volatile Combustible map pack, and the winter-themed Snowblind map pack.
Also available as a download are two premium Gears of War 2 themes for your Xbox 360 dashboard: Hope Runs Deep and Last Day are the names of the themes. Check out all these add ons in the download section, have fun gamers!
