It's not real big xbox news, but Electronic Arts has just revealed the cover of Mass Effect 2. It's pretty intriguing artwork. In this second chapter of Mass Effect, Saren's evil army of Geth soldiers has just been defeated, and humans, who are still struggling to make their mark on the galactic stage, are now faced with an even greater peril. Can't wait to give the game a try, hopefully this one will be more interesting than the first, knowing EA I'm sure it will be.
It looks like Halo 3: ODST will get a whole new look. The marines have upgraded gear and outfits, entirely different that the previous Halo games. Though I haven't quite adjusted to the new look yet, I love the old helmet, I think I'll eventually like the new look just fine. So what does ODST stand for, it stands for Orbital Drop Shock Trooper. In this fourth installment you play an ODST in search of the whereabouts of your scattered squad and the motivations behind the Covenant’s invasion of New Mombasa. The plot does sound pretty intriguing, I just hope it has some new looking bad guys, not the same old Covenant aliens from the first, second and third Halo. Though I don't entirely agree with the new outfits, I hope Bungie at least added in some new bad guys. Attached are some cool looking screen shots of the game along with the new Desperate Measures video. The graphics look quite amazing, along with the gameplay and new guns.
Bungie has just released a video called Desperate Measures of Halo 3: ODST. In the video you'll see all types of new guns and having the option of armor piercing rounds, which sounds great. You have to check out the video, Bungie goes pretty in depth about the game!
The release of the 3rd map pack for Call of Duty: World at War comes out on August 6th. The map pack features three new multiplayer maps to battle with on Xbox Live. The Maps are named Battery, Revolution and Breach. The maps are co-developed with Certain Affinity, and one new Zombie map (“Der Riese”).
I really want to see what the Zombies looking like in the map Der Riese, I saw some screenshots and they look pretty cool. Should be a great add on for World at War, spice the game up a bit. Though, the game will probably be dead once Modern Warfare 2 comes out on November 10th.
I'm so excited, the second modern warfare is set to come out on November 10, 2009. Knowing how great Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was, I definitely pre-ordered my copy a long time ago. Everyone just knows this shooter is going to be game of the year. All of the Call of Duty games are great, so there's no reason to worry about it being a crappy game. I still play the first Modern Warfare all the time, the features on it are amazing. I just love how you can shoot through walls, modify your guns and play co-op with your friends. I can't imagine what Activision has in store for us this time around. Pre-order your copy today!
Well this is rather interesting, Microsoft is planning to follow it's Apple competitors by opening their own retail stores across the nation. It hasn't been said how many retail stores will be opened, but Microsoft did announce the first two stores will be located in Arizona's Mission Viejo and at California's Scottsdale Fashion Square this fall. The stores are expected to carry all of Microsoft electronics such as the popular Zune and the Xbox 360. Probably Project Natal too when it comes out next year.
Yes there's G.I. Joe movie coming out and guess what, now there's a G.I. Joe video game too. Electronic Arts has just released the official website address so G.I. Joe fans can flock there, the address is GIJOE.EA.com. The game could be promissing, but if you look at the movie game history record, chances are it's going to be crap. On the website there is a few videos, mini games and downloads. Plus a big forum section to chat about the new game. Surprisingly, there hasn't been many posts made. Every time I see this guy here's wearing a Monster energy drink hat, the company must be his prime sponsor. If you're not familiar with this guy, Ken Block is a wild man, he's been competing in action sports events such as skateboarding, snowboarding, motocross, and most notably professional rally racing. In this video Ken Block goes into deep detail about the new Game Dirt 2. He talks about the different ways you can take turns and how real the surface is. The graphics are unbelievable, at times I couldn't tell if I was watching a game or real rally race on TV. I definitely can't wait for the demo to come out, gonna give it a try.
Am I the only one who sees this as stupid and ridiculous, sure the kids might like it. Well, until they figure out they can't paint anything. I mean just look at the way he's throwing the paint around, he's an adult and having a hard time. The way they made the elephant is kind of cool, but it turned out crappy. Nothing really has any true definition, just size and shape. I mean the kids would probably last a lot longer on a coloring book.
I still want to see some better games for adults, not this child crap.
So what do you guys think of this Project Natal mod for the Xbox 360? I like it, I just don't know how many xbox games will be qualified for it. More important, will it be fun actually playing with it. The whole part in the intro where the guy is racing a car, I'd rather have a steering wheel and clutch I can put my hands on, rather than using my imagination and pretending there's a steering wheel in my hands. That just does not seem like it could be fun. But, on the upside, the fighting games look like they could be awesome. You'll definitely have a lot of fun there and burn some calories off while doing it.
And how precise is this video camera? It better be more precise than the Wii, I hear a lot of gamers complaining that the Wii is just not accurate enough to use the gun controller on games like House of the Dead. And how about a gun, will we get a gun of some sort for games like Call of Duty or Halo? Just using your hands will be stupid, I want a gun for my shooter games, that's the category I spend most of my time in. So this whole mod might not be as interesting as I thought it would if it isn't enabled on games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
That's the vibe I'm getting from Project Natal. I'm very impressed, but how fun will it actually be for grown ups like me? I just see it good on fighting games that's all. It seems like the kids would enjoy it more. Microsoft actually just released a new video with this new game Paint Party, it looks pretty stupid. He's just slopping paint around and not actually painting. The paint seems so uncontrollable and ridiculous. But if the kids like it, hey means more money for Microsoft right?

Sorry, that was the feeling when I got when watching this Aliens vs. Predator Marine trailer. It took me all the way back to the 80s with the movie Aliens. It would be great if Hudson made an appearance or they just used one of the quotes from the movie. I know one thing, the game creators definitely copied the the guns and exact sound of gun fire from Aliens, looks and sounds just like in the movie, pretty cool!
I just hope the game will be better than the Alien vs. Predator movies, not to knock them or anything, I loved every single one. Just thought they could of used better acting and a better plot. They didn't get too good of reviews on IMDB or Rottent Tomatoes. Well anyways, here's the Alien vs. Predator Marine trailer, enjoy.

I'm thinking about trying out the 10-day free trial at Game Fly, it's really not a bad deal. I've never tried Game Fly so I think this would be a good chance to test it out. I mean you can try it out for 10 days, within those 10 days if you don't like the service you can cancel anytime and not get charged.
If I end up getting a membership there I would probably choose the 15.95 per month. Can't see paying $22.95 a month when you can buy a game for $25 more. Has anyone tried the company out yet? If so make a comment down below, I would really like your feedback. Like is it hard getting the latest titles like Call of Duty: World of War, Gears of War 2, or Prototype for the Xbox 360. It's rather important to know! I had a membership at Netflix and it was almost impossible getting the latest released movies sent to you within a month.
I absolutely love the Predator and Alien movies, I would like to know how many times I actually watched Predator and Alien. I think I've watched Aliens at least 50 times and Predator about 100. Remember Aliens, the one with Bill Paxton and Michael Biehn where they play the marines and storm in a new developed colony. Would be really cool if some game developer made a game based off of that movie. And we all know what a big hit Predator was with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Well a new Alien vs. Predator is being developed by Rebellion, in this game you'll be able to play three different roles: A Marine, Predator, or an Alien. I kind of want to play as a Marine and see what it would be like trying to fight for survival just like the Marines did in Aliens. I bet it would be pretty scary, especially on my 150" projector screen.
I bet being a Predator hunter will be a lot of fun also. I first would like to try out there laser gun, that things got to be really cool, hope it's accurate also. I hope this game ends up being a hit, I expect a lot out of it, but still wouldn't mind if it's simple but yet fun. A game can be bad if it has too many features in it. I do wonder if you'll be able to use the cloaking mode just like in the movie.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is coming out with vengence, the last one should of done a ton better in reviews. I thought it was a great shooter and had a fun multiplayer experience. The year it came out, it was released with a bunch of other shooters so it was hard for gamers to recognize it as a great shooter. This 2009 Bad Company 2 has a lot of hope, it's doing all the nitts and cranies to be a bigger, better, and more bad ass than the previous game and competition. The game will be featuring all types of interesting twists that make the game more interesting. I for one am looking forward to the multiplayer on Xbox Live. Massive multiplayer action is the only way to go, lots of fun!

I'm a car maniac, I love to drive and race cars for a living. I have a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS.6 and a 2004 SVT Mustang Cobra, I go out to Woodward almost every weekend to cruise and hangout with my car friends. So you know how inthused I am after seeing the trailer to Burnout Paradise Big Surf. Game looks amazing, the jumps looks huge and the graphics look great. I just hope this game is a lot more fun than the previous Burnout. See some of the Burnout games are a hit or a miss, the original was great, I loved it. Just hope this as good as the 1st one. Looks a little unrealitic with the 500ft jumps, but maybe it will surprise us and be a lot of fun!
